March. What does it mean to you? For me, it’s surely going to be an interesting one in all aspects of my life, personally, financially and blogglly (is that even a word?!) LOL
I won’t get into too many personal details here, but generally, it’s a scary month for me. I just feel like this year is going to quick! You know the exciting feeling of setting goals at the start of the year and then March rolls around and then you have the overwhelming feeling of feeling overwhelmed? Confused? Well, yes that is how my life seems at the moment.
Again, like I’ve mentioned in last month’s post, I don’t tend to share a lot of personal information on my blog to keep myself private, but slowly, I am letting you all into my life 🙂
Anyway, let’s get down and dirty with this month’s reflection/inspiration post. And read on to find out whether I’ve accomplished what I set out from last month!

My Baby, My Blog
No I’m not pregnant LOL. My blog is my baby. It’s what I love to look after and nurture and I want to make it grow (just like a real life baby HAHA). I haven’t really made any solid goals, but I just hope it grows. More so, I hope my readers enjoy what I blog about. I hope people can relate to me. I hope women can relate to my good, my bad and my ugly. Because we have each of those, no-one is perfect. Thank you to everyone that has supported and motivated me so far. It honestly means the world to me and I love to hear from you. I also feel like I’ve posted some good content so far on my blog and it’s being received really well. Some awesome and popular content this month has been:
& of course my Weekly Sephora Weekly Wow Sale Updates have been as popular as ever! They are the best way to pick up a few beauty products at even up to 80% off.
I need to find more balance in my life and I need to find resources to do this. At the end of the day, I know I need all the help I can get as I can’t seem to find balance myself. I am looking forward to devoting more ‘me’ time this month. I’ve decided that I am going to make constant effort each and every month to do something for me.
This website, has some great inspiring information on how to find balance in your life.
This Month is also a new and exciting month because my bottle of my favorite foundation ever finally finished. I’m not excited that my favorite foundation finished, it’s more so that it frees up my face and gives me the opportunity to truly trial a few others that I’ve been wanting to try for a while now.
And because I am a minimalistic at heart, I hate buying things that I don’t really need. I did buy a drug-store foundation here to test out (and I liked very much!), but I’ve been wanting to give Tarte a go because so many bloggers talk about it, I wanted so bad to give it a go. It’s great that it’s cruelty free – good on you Tarte for doing this 🙂 A step in the right direction 🙂 Oh and another addition, I really want to try a new makeup primer!

Holiday? I Wish…
I feel that with how I’ve been juggling my personal life at the moment, aswell as my job and my blog, I feel like I need a holiday. But since the last time I had time off was over Christmas and New Year, I don’t think it’s really called for. Like it seems like, a holiday after a holiday? Not really, but you kind of get me. It’s only really been 2 months since I had time off. And plus, my husband and I went on a small few day trip recently too. But it’s been a hectic two months and that’s why I am feeling like I need a holiday.
I know my husband and I have already discussed our summer holiday plans. I’ve started researching and I honestly can’t wait. There is so many travel places and travel blogs I’ve been reading and I want to travel to, I just can’t make up my mind. At least I have a few months to plan 🙂 Let me know in the comments if you have any good suggestions on whether to go for summer.
This month, I’ve eyed off these beige/white sneakers from New Balance and I really would like to get them. I think they are great as work-out shoes, but also casual sneakers when you really can’t be bothered to wear any other shoe! I can see myself pairing them with jeans or anything really. What do you think? Yes or No?
The Next Best Thing…
As I’ve mentioned above, the last few weeks have been draining and the next best thing to a holiday is pampering myself. I’ve already booked in to get my nails done next week as my nails just look horrid and honestly, I can’t be bothered to do them myself this month. I also normally color my hair myself at home. I’ve decided this month, I’m going to go to the hairdresser and get a bit of a hair pamper. The last time I went to the hairdresser was when I got my hair cut short.
Lastly, like last month I treated myself to a hair mask, I’m going to treat myself to some home pampering products as a way to look after myself and to beautify me. And yes it’s a ‘treat’ because some of these things can actually be quite expensive! But I guess beauty doesn’t come cheap. And some more baths, because why not?

Dessert would have to be the most favorite food ever. I could eat dessert instead of a meal any-day. I really do have a sweet tooth. But at the same time, I am trying to loose some weight before summer so I can buy some new bikinis and go to the beach and feel comfortable and confident about myself. It’s torture for me when I look for dessert recipes online, because I am always tempted to do a new dessert that I haven’t tried before.
However, to save my stomach and butt, I have instead, been focusing on desserts at home that are semi-healthy. Last week, I did a banana cake that wasn’t too calorie dense, and the next one on my list are these healthy cheesecake muffins or even these healthy peanut butter cookies. OMG YUM! I literally can’t resist. LOL.
Last Month’s Goals
I haven’t joined a gym but I have been walking everyday and doing some workouts at home. If you are interested, I might share them with you in the coming months. Let me know if it’s something you want me to blog about.
As always, thank you to everyone that has supported LaBeaute xx
